| These coins are dated on the edge only. The ones from 1885 are exceptionally rare and, in fact, had to have been struck at least six weeks after Charles II died. The legend NVMMORVM FAMVLVS on the edge translates as The servant of the coinage indicated the farthing's status as a subsidiary coinage. |
