ONE PENNY date
In 1902 there were two types struck. The coin pictured above is the common high tide type which continued for the rest of Edward VII's penny series. The high and low tide can be differentiated by observing where the horizon intersects Britannia's leg. See High vs Low Tide for further details. No proofs were struck of the bronze penny and the denomination was not included in the Specimen Set of 1902.
