The following is the start of a compilation of tips and tricks I have come across to
get the most out of my Pocket PC or Computer.
Pocket PC
- Tip 01 How to copy a file manually to your Pocket PC using ActiveSync.
- Tip 02 When I press the WAN button on my iPAQ or HP 5500, 5550, 5555, etc
series Pocket PC the wireless light won't come on.
- Tip 03 When inserting a Memory Card (Compactflash, Secure Digital etc) into my Pocket PC it seems to take forever to bring up files and sometimes it freezes completely.
- Tip 04 How to perform a Hard Reset on an iPAQ or HP 3800, 3900, or 5500 series Pocket PC (Warning: A hard reset will erase all programs and data in the main memory of the Pocket PC)
- Tip 05 Closing an Application on your Pocket PC so that it also releases the memory that it was using.
- Tip 06 Using fonts other than Tahoma and Courier on your Pocket PC.
- Tip 07 Restoring MS Reader without Reactivating
- Tip 08 iPaq 5000 series Pocket PC won't turn on, even after charging.
